AS Tanzanians are celebrating the New Year festivity today at their various homes, President Dr. John Magufuli has reiterated his call to continue maintaining peace and tranquility which have been prevailing in the country since independence time.
The president was biding a farewell for the year 2017 that ended yesterday and welcomes new and prosperous year for 2018 which starts today.
In a statement he issued today in Dar es Salaam, the president has also called on Tanzanians to love one another and continue maintaining solidarity among ourselves as these are the pillasrs towards nation building.
The president reminded Tanzanians to dedicate themselves and use more efforts wherever necessary and work harder under his policy popularly known as ‘Hapa ni Kazi tuu’ towards building new Tanzania for the future of the coming generations.
He concluded by asking the lord God to bless Tanzania with all means possible so that it might achieve its set goals.
